Privacy Policy

Overview
This policy explains how Tools Bucket (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use www.toolsbucket.xyz. We keep data collection to a minimum: our tools are designed to work without an account and without sending what you type to us.
Information you enter into our tools
Our calculators, converters and generators — including the age, BMI, loan and percentage calculators, the password and QR code generators, the unit converter, the color palette picker and the Pomodoro timer — run entirely in your web browser. Dates, measurements, amounts, passwords and text you enter are processed on your own device. They are not sent to our servers and we do not store them.
Information you send us
If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject and message. We use this only to read and reply to your message. It is stored in our database until it is no longer needed, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
If you comment on a blog post, we collect your name, your comment and (optionally) your email address. Your name and comment are shown publicly once approved; your email address is never published and is used only if we need to contact you about your comment. You can ask us to remove a comment at any time.
To protect our forms from spam, we temporarily keep a one-way hashed (non-reversible) version of your IP address for about 15 minutes to limit how many messages can be sent.
Information collected automatically
Our website is hosted by Vercel. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request — to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.
We also measure visits with our own privacy-friendly analytics, which uses no cookies. It records the page you view, the website or search engine that sent you, your country (worked out from your IP address), and your device type, browser and operating system, and we only look at these as totals. To count unique visitors, your IP address and browser details are combined with a random value that changes every day and turned into a one-way code. We never store your IP address, and each day's random value is deleted after about two days, so visits can't be linked across days or traced back to you.
We do not use analytics or tracking tools to build profiles of individual visitors.
Cookies
We do not use cookies to track you. If you press the Like button on a blog post, we set a functional cookie containing a random identifier (no personal information) for up to one year, so we can remember which posts you have liked and count each like only once. A strictly necessary sign-in cookie is used only in our private administration area, by authorised staff.
Our advertising partner Google sets cookies as described in the Advertising section below.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertising on this website. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, please contact us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
